Hello April, Sandi , Cathy, and the Alspach families hope you are OK. We watched the news and it sounded like Port St Lucia and the rest of Florida got hit pretty hard. Please let us know how you all are.

Hey everyone Do you realize how fast the time is going? July will be here before we know it. We really need to get organized on the reunion. So first things first - Where are we having it? I suggest North Carolina. How about if we take suggustions until Oct 28th on where to go? After that we start serious planning. Add ideas suggestions and comments to this post. Speak up now or you are stuck with what we do.
Cathy, Orlando, and Nyssa joined Mom, me (Sandi) and Ryan at the St. Lucie County Chili Cookoff yesterday to celebrate Cathy & Orlando's 21st anniversary. We had a wonderful time, and I thought I would share some of the highlights:
Cathy & Orlando
Even after 21 years of marriage, they're still rolling around in the hay together!
Early in the day, Cathy was "arrested" and jailed. I'm not sure what the exact charges were, but I believe it had something to do with not cleaning her room since Mom was the one who had her arrested.
Cathy had to stay in jail until she could raise the appropriate bail. Orlando did offer twice the bail amount -- but only if the sheriff would keep her!
Once Cathy was released from jail, Orlando spent the rest of the day in hiding from the law -- especially when we learned that the sheriff passed along Orlando's offer to Cathy!
The kids (Nyssa, Ryan, and of course Cathy) jumped around a bit. The bungee jump was a lot of fun -- but none of them managed to do a flip. Maybe next time.
At the end of the day, we rode away in true chili-country style -- in a hay wagon.

Me,Tracey and Aunt Leslie at Traceys graduation in august
We have sent these photo's out to those of you whose E-mail add. we had on our computer, and Aunt Gail reminded us that we should post them here on the blog as well. These are some recent photo's taken on Friday. The first one was taken at TNT's Kindergarten classroom where they had just finished a unit titled "On The Farm". They had a day at the end of the unit called "Farm Day" The other pictures of the boys on the swings were taken on Saturday at friends of ours house who just happen to live on a farm in Alabama. The first one is Tyler and the second is Trevor. The last photo was taken at home and all I have to say about that one is boys will be boys. BOY, I sure am outnumbered. :)
Love, All of us
I am going to figure out how to do pictures eventually, hopefully by tonight, but until then, let me do a little bragging...Kevin is 18, a senior in high school. He is in all honors classes with a 99.6 average. He is working at burger king and plays drums in a band called KAOS. He had black hair almost as long as Carries and just recently cut it and donated it to"Locks of Love". He is looking at several colleges and interested in computer graphics. He is also interested in joining the navy and becomming a pilot. He has also received scholarships for American Sign Language. Phillip is an average student whos only focus right now is skate-boarding. He built a half-pipe in the back yard and has a new sponser from "Vans". He is the son with a new girlfriend every month! Very popular! He is 16. Cody is 14. He also is a straight A student {where do they get it from?} He is already signed up for ROTC next year and wants to be an aeuronautical engineer. He spends time with a Dr. friend of mine that works at NASA Space Station. He is in his second year of football and just won an award from his teachers that will put him in Austrailia next year for 3 weeks! Steven is 11. In 5th grade. He is on a basket ball team and dreams of becomming the next Tracy McBrady! Ford is our 3 year old. Although there is something wonderful about starting all over, having kids is definately best left to the young!! My "adopted" daughter is Kevins girlfried, Mia. They have been together for almost 4 years. She also is in all honors classes with a 100 average. She spent about a year living with us when her parents went through a horrible divorce and she is my only "princess". I think I would give one of the boys up before I would give her up!! Sean and I have been married 4 years now. He is a purchasing manager. His pride and joy is a Harley Fatboy he just bought. He wants me to learn to ride and is always teasing me that I should be more like Aunt Robin! I keep telling him that they wern't all"good" memories! I frequently have flash backs and night mares of a crazy woman on a motorcycle yelling "come on, you can do it! Its not hard, look at me!!" Remember "suicide hill"? Well, thats all I got to say about my family.{ I thought the thought of them all moving out would be more difficult!} I cant wait to see eveyone at the reunion!
Talked to Aunt Leslie today. They are home. Tarping the roof for now.FEMA coming tomorrow, then they will start tearing up the carpet, find out about mold damage etc. The good news, they had a home to come back to. From what I understand, I guess FEMA already took care of the deductable. The mobile home next to them is twisted and on its side.
We talked to Aunt Leslie tonight and they are still at the Camp Ground. There is no electric in Lake Charles, and no one is allowed in yet. They heard that the chimney did fall and put a hole in the roof. They do not know when they will be allowed to go back, and have no idea what kind of damage they have . It must be real hard on them . That is all we have now. Will send more when we have more.
